Research & Development

Some questions deserve more than a best guess. We study the ones that matter.

We Do the Work Behind the Work

Most consulting firms bring you what they know. MKR Development brings you what we find.

Our Research and Development practice is where we go deeper on the workforce and organizational questions that do not have clean, settled answers. We design studies, gather data, analyze what we see, and share what the findings actually mean for practitioners on the ground.

This work sharpens everything else we do. It also gives our clients something most firms cannot offer: Guidance that is grounded in evidence, not just experience.

What This Looks Like in Practice

  • Our studies focus on workforce challenges that practitioners deal with daily but that existing research either overlooks or answers too broadly. If something is happening in organizations and no one has studied it well, that is where we start.

  • Every study is designed with a clear research question, an ethical framework, and a methodology that holds up. We do not cut corners on rigor because the whole point is to produce findings you can trust.

  • Our reports are written for decision-makers. You will understand what we found, why it matters, and what to do with it. The academic discipline is in the work. The language is for you.

Why Research Is Part of MKR

MKR Development was built on a conviction that good people operations work has to be grounded in something real. That means staying current, staying curious, and being willing to go find answers when the field has not given us good ones yet.

Research is how we grow the field.

We are not just keeping up with the conversation. We are contributing to it.

What We Are Working On

We have active research interests underway. We are not ready to share details yet, but the work is in progress and it is focused on questions that are directly relevant to HR professionals, business leaders, and the people trying to build strong organizations.

When we publish, you will want to be on the list.
